Attention any Grade 7 students thinking of attending next April's Grade 8 Trip to Washington, D.C.  There are still a few spots left, but this is the last call to turn in forms and an initial deposit check by the end of school today.  Please see either Mr. Perry or 
Mr. Conant for more details.


Reminder that all band members must bring their instruments home for summer vacation.

Attention students: The library will be closed today. If you have a chromebook charger or book to return please drop it at the library check in desk.

Any students with money for missing library books, please bring it to the Main Office.

Library summer check out is today after school!  Please bring your permission slips with you if you have not handed them in to the library already.  See you after school!

Attention Track and Field athletes.  Please turn in your jerseys to Coach Rollins or Coach Kwas ASAP.

Just a reminder to all 7th grade students participating in the Talent Show - you should be practicing and perfecting your act - ready to go for after lunch on Tuesday. We can't wait to have fun celebrating all of our talents together. Please check in with Mrs. Schmid or Mrs. Soto if you have any questions.

A couple library announcements: 

 All library books are now due. Please return any outstanding library books as soon as possible.

For students going into 7th and 8th grade next year, you may check out books over the summer.  You must have a permission slip filled out in order to do so.  Please pick one up in the library or ask your teachers.  Summer check out is Tuesday after school.  See you there!


Congratulations to the following track athletes who competed in the NE Junior Olympics who ALL qualified for the regionals in NY in July.
 
Leading the way was Gabriel C. who won 3 gold medals in the 200, Long jump and high jump. 

Carmen L. another 6th grader won the 3000 and was 2nd in the 1500 meters.  Mia L. was 3rd in the 800 losing to the MA state champion and Casey W. was 5th in the 800 with a huge PR.

In the Hurdles Kate S. was 2nd in a school record losing only to last years National Champion.   And Paige M. had the performance of the day in the 400 getting a PR and school record by almost 2 seconds and getting 2nd.

An amazing day by all the athletes!

The Literary Magazine is excited to let you know that this year's copy of our work, The Middle Ground, is produced and ready to share with everyone. This year we are not making printed books, but chose to produce the magazine online to include more writers and artists. 


Please look at our school's webpage under Online Resources for the link to the magazine. You can even download the magazine from the webpage for safe-keeping and a different way to view. 


Thanks so much to all of the artists and writers - take a look...who knows if your work is there?"

It's Tropical Thursday.  Are you wearing your Hawaiian Attire? Don't forget tomorrow is Funky Friday - you should Wear Crazy Clothes, Socks, Shoes, Hats.

A reminder to all Term 3 Tech Ed students.  All work must be turned in through Google Classroom by Midnight Thursday night.  Friday morning my Google Classrooms will be closed to students and no work will be accepted late.  All missing work will end up a 50 in Ipass.

Attention Staff and Students - this is our last week for the late bus run.  Our late buses will not be available the last week of school.  Final day will be Thursday, June 14th.

Hello from the RAMS library!  If you have any library books out, please return them by Friday.  If you have any questions about outstanding items, please see Mrs. McDaniel or Mrs. Grosjean in the library.

Today is the last meeting of Newspaper Club for the year. Come to room 224 this afternoon to celebrate all your hard work and plan for next year!

A reminder there is no longer Innovation Nation or computer club after school on Mondays.  You should not be staying after school today unless you are staying with a teacher for extra help. 
Good morning Adams! Running club meets today for the last time this year. Don’t forget your running shoes and money for a sweet treat.


Band and Chorus members in grade 7 and 8 are invited to have some frozen treats, and meet and greet the students and faculty of the high school music program today after school from 2-3 in the teachers caf here at RAMS (by the band room). Again, this event is for band and chorus members in grades 7 and 8.

Attention 8th Graders: Today is the last day to buy tickets for this year's 8th grade dance. The cost is $12, and you can pay with cash or checks made out to Robert Adams Middle School.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Attention 7th and 8th grade band and chorus members: You are invited to an ice cream social with the HHS band and chorus this coming Monday from 2-3pm here at RAMS. We will use this time to get to know about the high school band and chorus programs and their students. Again, this is for all band and chorus members in 7th and 8th grade. Hope to see you there!
