Anyone looking to chill out, have some fun, and meet new people?  Circle of Friends is a relaxed atmosphere where students from all grades participate in games, crafts, and fun!! Come and join us after school Monday September 23rd in room 223.

The 9th Annual Tim's Trot will be on Saturday, September 29, at Holliston High School. It's sure to be another day of fun and community as friends gather to celebrate Tim along the 1.9 mile course.  Tim's Trot t-shirts and goodie bags will be given to all participants-and homemade ice cream and fresh apples will be available after the Trot?  Please register online at TIMSTEAM.org

Computer club starts next week! Come learn about 3D printing, stop motion animation and more with  Mr. Steiner and Ms. McDaniel on Mondays after school in the innovation lab. 

The library will be closed this morning and will re-open in the afternoon.  We will send an announcement once it is open for students. 


The book fair is coming to RAMS! Visit during your English class next week to browse our wide selection of titles including the newest graphic novel by Raina Telgemeir, and the latest historical-fiction adventure by Alan Gratz! All proceeds benefit our school library.

The first meeting and rehearsal for Crew for the One Acts will be Tuesday, September 24 at 3:00 in the Auditorium. All interested in crew, even if you have not submitted a form, should attend.

We will be holding a book fair next week in the library.  Ask your English teacher for details!

Great job to the RAMS field hockey team in their first two games, playing strong against Needham on Wednesday and Natick-Kennedy on Thursday.  Amazing saves made by goalies Hannah D. and Caroline E.   Keep up the great work ladies!

Come to Debate Club this Thursday in Ms. Bouchard's room (204) to speak, discuss, and express your opinions on various topics in current events, science, and politics. This is also a club where you can work on your public speaking skills and make new friends. Debate Club meets every Thursday in Ms. Bouchard’s room, room 204. All grades are welcome to join!

Attention any student interested in playing soccer as part of our after school soccer club, RAMS FC. We will be meeting TODAY after school in Mr Cotter's classroom, then heading outside to play. See you there!

Quidditch will meet this Thursday after school in Room 205, Mrs. Buckley's room before heading out tho the pitch.  Ravenclaws, Slytherins, Hufflepuffs and Gryfindors welcome.  Please bring a broom if possible.  If you are in sixth grade band and want to join Quidditch, no worries.  We will sometimes meet on other days of the week so you can participate in the flying fun.

Reminder to 7th and 8th grade band members that we have after-school rehearsal today - please be ready to play and in your seat for attendance by 2:05. Band members who are playing in the parade this Saturday will rehearse following that, until 3:30.

Congrats to the RAMS Volleyball team for their dominating 3-0 performance against Ashland on Monday.  Please come cheer on the team this Thursday @ RAMS when they face Upton-Mendon at 4pm.  Hope to see you there! 

Congratulations to the RAMS Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams in their first tri -meet against  yesterday!  The Girls team beat out both Ashland and Natick-Kennedy with a strong performance and the Boys team won against Ashland.  Congrats to all of our runners!

Any students still interested in signing up for Jazz band placement auditions can do so in the band room. Signup times are available through the end of the week.

Band members that are participating in the Celebrate Holliston Parade, we will have a brief rehearsal following after-school band tomorrow until 3:30. Please check your email for details and access to the Google Drive that has all of our materials for this Saturday.

Calling all writers, photographers, and Instagram experts! The first meeting of RAMS News Team is today, after school, in room 224. Come help publish our school newspaper and start a school Instagram account! 

Today is the day that Beautiful Mind Campaign kicks off the new year!  Come join us in room 204 after school to check it out!  Ms. Lagas and Mrs. Powers look forward to seeing everyone

Good luck to the RAMS Volleyball and Cross Country teams competing against Ashland today!!!

Attention Hogwarts students!  Quidditch will meet this Thursday after school in Room 205, Mrs. Buckley's room.  Please bring a broom if possible.  Nimbus 2000s and Firebolts are not required.  If you are in sixth grade band, we will sometimes hold Quidditch club on Tuesdays or Wednesdays so you can join in on the flying fun.  Brooms up!

Do you want to be part of a club that works to make the school a welcoming place for all and have a place to talk about middle school life?  Beautiful Mind Campaign is excited to be starting up again this year and Mrs. Powers and Ms Lagas look forward to seeing old friends and new!  This year we will be meeting on Mondays in room 204 in the 6th grade wing and our first meeting will be this Monday the 16th from 2-3.  

Jazz band placement audition sign-ups are now posted in the band room. Auditions will take place next week every day after school except for Tuesday. Drop by the band room if you would like to join the fun!

Attention to any students in grade 6 and 7 who are interested in playing soccer after school. Our club, RAMSFC will have our first meeting after school this Thursday. If you are interested, please join us after school in Mr Cotter's classroom for a brief meeting before we head outside to play some soccer!  Soccer spikes are fine, but are not needed to participate.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Homework Club starts this week on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's in room 101.

Our school's environmental club is called Green Team. If you are interested in recycling, gardening, composting or overall sustainable practices for our community please stop by room 117 this Thursday after school from 2-3. 

Today is a very important day in our nations history, for which we will have an extended moment of silence.
In observance of the federally-recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, known today as ""9/11 Day,"" we dedicate time to help others in the spirit of service, unity and peace, in tribute to the victims of 9/11 and terrorism worldwide, first responders, and the many who have risen in service to defend freedom.

Please join me in a moment of silence.
Cross country runners should go to Coach Cutone's room after school today to pick up their uniform.  Coach Cutone's room is #225 which is upstairs in 8th grade just past the world language classrooms.  Runners will go back to the gym after picking up their uniform.


Just a reminder to all staff and students that tomorrow is School Picture Day. If you have not done so already, please be sure to bring in your picture packet or fill it out online.

Auditions for the One Acts will be held today from 3-6 in the Auditorium. if you are interested, please sign up on the Audition Sign Up on the Drama board, located outside the Cafeteria. There are also extra audition forms and crew forms on the board.
