This is reminder to all Art students to bring headphones to Art class.
Debate Club is cancelled today. See you after Thanksgiving break!
Attention all 6th graders: Join us this Friday for the 6th grade Carnival in our Gym and Cafeteria.  The fun will go from 6:30-8:30 where you can play games, win prizes, enjoy music, and hang with friends. Tickets will be on sale at lunch all week for $7. Tickets will not be sold at the door. "
Tech Ed Lunches: A reminder the Tech ed room is open for all grades to have lunch, do work and quietly socialize except Thursdays.
Our school magazine will meet Thursday after school in Room 228. There will be a Grade 6, Grade 7, and Grade 8 section, so student writers and artists are needed from all three grades. Again, that's Room 228 after school Thursday. See you then!
The Turkey Trot is coming up RAMS!! Make sure during lunch that you remember to donate your loose and extra change to your favorite beard! Just a reminder the top three teachers will be competing in a pie-eating contest! Mr. Cotter is in the lead and Mr. Vanesian is the runner up. 7th and 8th graders, make sure to vote for your teachers! Check up on the new polaroids in the lunchroom to see the fantastic beards.
Attention all students, RAMS FC is cancelled for today. Again there will be no RAMS FC after school today.
 Good morning Adams! There is a green team meeting today in room 117 after school. Please help out green team by emptying your classroom recycle bin’s into the large bins in the hallway after announcements are over. thank you so much have a great day

Attention 6th-grade bakers--the next meeting of the baking club will be Nov. 20th and will be for 6th grade only. If interested please sign up in Mrs. Gavan's office.  We will take the first 15 students.  See you then!

Another week of the competition is upon us and we have quite a fierce one-- with Mr. Cotter in the lead! 7th and 8th grade, remember to donate your loose or extra change to your favorite luscious beard during your lunch period. With those beards growing, we hope the money tree does too. As a reminder: all this money goes to a great cause. So make sure to donate so you can see your favorite beards compete against each other after the Turkey Trot.

Homeroom teachers - please remember to pass out the Turkey Trot Participation forms.  Students, this Turkey Trot is scheduled for next Wednesday November 22.  The Turkey Trot is open to all staff and students and is about a 1 mile walk, jog or run.   We are collecting small donations of $1 to support the Holliston Food Pantry.  Please bring this $1 in, along with your form to your homeroom teachers.  
Attention Quidditch Players!  There will be NO meeting today for the Quidditch Club.  We will have our final celebration of all things Quidditch on TUESDAY November 21st.  That is NEXT Tuesday!
There is no lunch in the library today.  Again, library lunch is closed today.  See you tomorrow!
This is a friendly reminder that the Beautiful Mind Campaign meets today after school in room 128.
7th and 8th grade band members that signed up to perform the National Anthem next week should pick up the music from the band room at the beginning of your lunch today. Please also check your emails for a brief rehearsal date announcement.
There will be an after-school band makeup session today from 2-3pm. Any band students that would like extra help can also attend!

Another week of the competition is upon us and we have quite a fierce one-- with Mr. Cotter in the lead! 7th and 8th grade, remember to donate your loose or extra change to your favorite luscious beard during your lunch period. With those beards growing, we hope the money tree does too. As a reminder: all this money goes to a great cause. So make sure to donate so you can see your favorite beards compete against each other after the Turkey Trot.

Good morning RAMS! Have you ever wanted to see your teacher with a long, luscious beard? Well, now is your chance. During the month of November, the male teachers that have chosen to participate will be growing out their long facial locks.  We will be taking polaroids of each of the men who have chosen to participate each week so you can see their progress. When you are at lunch, you have the opportunity to donate your loose change to help cancer research. Donate your money to the teacher who you think has the most beauteous beard of all. The Top 3 beards will be competing in a pie contest  after the Turkey Trot.

Quidditch will meet tomorrow after school.  We will first meet in Mrs. Buckley's room. We will then head out to the pitch if the weather conditions permit.  If it is rainy or the fields are too wet to play on, we will have an edible potions lesson.

The Top 3 beards will be competing in a pie contest  after the Turkey Trot. 
The middle school state cross country champions are in the house!  Both girls and boys teams raced a very competitive race at the state meet over the weekend and the girls team took away the championship trophy as the fastest middle school cross country team in the state!

Each runner ran their toughest race ever and ended the season strong.  Coach Vigue and Coach Cutone are very proud of the girls and boys who committed to their season by working hard.

The girls championship team was led by Kate C., followed by Mia L., Paige M., Kayla T., Jordyn K., Ella B. and Peyton H.

Phoebe D. had an impressive race as she knocked out 170 runners as she medaled in 13th place in state in the Girls Open Race.

The boys had stellar races concluding their final race of the year.  

We want to take a moment to honor the 8th grade runners for the completion of their final cross country season at the middle school.  Connor W., Matt W., Ethan C., Jack L., Shaun C., Kate C., Peyton H., Mia L., Jordyn K., Kayla T., Phoebe D., MacKenzie M., Emma G., Ellie C., Sloan C. and Kara C.   We wish you all the best in the future, run free!
All clubs in room 110 are cancelled this afternoon.  See you next Monday
Congratulations to all students who participated in the One Acts this weekend. You all did an amazing job!
Jazz Ensemble will begin at 3:30pm today due to a meeting at the High School. Again, Jazz Ensemble will run from 3:30-4:25 today.
Last call for Citrus Fundraiser forms! The Citrus Fundraiser deadline has been extended to today, so if you forgot to turn them in on Friday then you can drop them off at the office by the end of the day.

Huge congratulations to the Cross Country Team for a stellar race at the Central Mass Invitational yesterday.  The girls team took away a first place trophy in the Championship Race led by Kate C.,  Mia L., Paige M., Peyton H., Jordyn K., Kayla T. and Ella B. completed the winning team.  

In the Girls Open Race, Phoebe D. came in 1st place followed by Casey W. in 2nd, Sloan C. in 3rd and Ella K. in 4th.  

The Boys team had a strong race in the Boys Open, coming in 1st for our school was Conor S. in 6th followed by Owen B. in 7th, Nate G. in 10th, Rowan O. in 11th and Jack L. in 12th.  

The Cross Country Team races their final race the Massachusetts State Cross Country Meet this Saturday.

Reminder to all band and chorus students that Citrus Fundraiser forms are due this Friday. Please turn them in to either the main office or Mr. Grina as soon as possible.
Reminder to staff, athletes who are competing in the Central Mass Invitational today should be dismissed at 1:40 today so they can make the bus.  A list of athletes was previously sent via email.

Cross Country athletes, you should make your way down to the Linden Circle as soon as you are dismissed from your class at 1:40 so the bus can leave before school dismissal.  Good luck runners!
