This afternoon we will kick off our week with a spirit rally.  We hope you're all wearing your spirit shirts!   Please remember to bring in food pantry donation items this week to your homeroom. Don't forget tomorrow, Tuesday is our R day of spirit week which stands for Relaxation Day.  This means wear your school appropriate pajamas to school!   Also - keep thinking about the rest of the week ... A for Animal day, M for mismatch day and S for sunglasses and/or sports day.

An important announcement for student government: Our first, MANDATORY meeting will take place Wednesday after school in the auditorium. If you were selected as a homeroom representative or alternate, YOU MUST attend this important first meeting.

Attention 7th/8th grade band: Reminder that after-school band today is canceled. Again, no after school band today for 7th and 8th grade. Please do twice your daily practice today in its place, and we'll see you next week!
Attention 6th Graders!

- Do you need help organizing your binders, folders and locker?
- Would you benefit from time management skills to help with studying and homework?
- Could you use help getting used to middle school responsibilities?
Then come to the ""Crash Course for Middle School"" held after school from 2:10-3 pm Thursdays after school in Rm. 104.  This FOUR week class led by Holliston High School senior Laura Keen is helpful, informative and FUN!  Space is limited, so please contact Mrs. Beattie or Mrs. Multer to secure a spot in the course today!

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer, to give back to your community, and to feel good about your efforts?
If so, consider volunteering for the upcoming Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life ride which will be held right here in Holliston on October 6th.  Volunteers are needed at the many rest stops along the 12, 30, and 65 mile routes.
Anyone who is interested should email Miss Malloy or stop by room 120 for further information.

Good morning Adams! Green team meets in room 117 after school today. Attention teachers - please let one student from your homeroom empty the green classroom bins into the large hallway bin before homeroom ends! Thank you!

Today is October 1st and that means the beginning of INKTOBER!  Inktober is an international drawing challenge for artists with a daily prompt to help them draw a little every day because artists, like anyone, get better with practice. Today's prompt is "poisonous". Take the Inktober challenge with Mrs. Hebert and the Drawing club!
