Calling all writers and photographers! Newspaper club meets today in room 224.

Over the past couple days, you may have noticed the new posters around the hallways.  During the month of October, the advisory groups of Señora Beltran, Mrs. Lussier and  Ms. Fulginiti will be having a winter clothing drive, for the Immigrant and Refugee Rights Network. This Network provides refugees, as well as the less fortunate, with warm winter clothing. This winter, the Network is asking for coats, boots, hats, snow pants, gloves, mittens and blankets. There will be donation bins outside of each guidance counselor’s office, and in the lobby by the office. This drive ends October 31st, so if you want to donate, please do it before then. Thanks, and have a great day.

RAMS FC will meet this Thursday in room 202.  See you there!
An important reminder to 6th grade representatives of our student government: we are scheduled to meet after school today in Miss Cormier's room, 124. Looking forward to seeing you there. Please make your way quickly to our meeting as we would like to start promptly at 2:00.

Beautiful Mind Campaign  would like to share with you all that today is World Mental Health Day, A day established for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma.
But what is social stigma and what can we do about it as a school?
Stigma refers to attitudes and beliefs that lead people to reject, avoid, or fear those they perceive as being different….these perceived differences are commonly related to culture, gender, race, and health.
What we can each do is pay closer attention to our own thoughts about others, and work at embracing all of our differences.  Today at lunch there will be some more information about this at your tables and the Beautiful Mind Campaign hopes that you will consider taking the pledge to be stigma free.  Just sign your name to the poster across from the entrance to the cafeteria to show your support.  Let’s work at making our school a stigma free zone.
If you want to learn more join us on Thursday after school in room 221.

Quidditch will meet tomorrow after school in Mrs. Buckley's room-Room 205 before heading out to the pitch.  Brooms up!

Good morning Adams! Running club meets today after school in the library. Make sure to bring your water bottles and sneakers!
