R-A-M-S ... GO RAMS!  Spirit week continues with  mismatch day tomorrow - let's see crazy mismatched outfits and mismatched socks and shoes. Friday is sunglasses and/or sports day and also remember if you participate, you could win a price.  Please also remember that we are also trying to bring in many food pantry items this week for the Holliston Food pantry.
Good Morning RAMS!,

An important announcement for student government: Our first, MANDATORY meeting will take place TODAY after school in the auditorium. If you were selected as a homeroom representative or alternate, YOU MUST attend this important first meeting. "
Attention 6th Graders!

- Do you need help organizing your binders, folders and locker?
- Would you benefit from time management skills to help with studying and homework?
- Could you use help getting used to middle school responsibilities?

Then come to the ""Crash Course for Middle School"" held after school from 2:10-3 pm Thursdays after school in Rm. 104.  This FOUR week class led by Holliston High School senior Laura Keen is helpful, informative and FUN!  Space is limited, so please contact Mrs. Beattie or Mrs. Multer to secure a spot in the course today!
Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer, to give back to your community, and to feel good about your efforts?

If so, consider volunteering for the upcoming Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life ride which will be held right here in Holliston on October 6th.  Volunteers are needed at the many rest stops along the 12, 30, and 65 mile routes.  Anyone who is interested should email Miss Malloy or stop by room 120 for further information.
Just as a reminder for Spirit Week, if you are an active participant on any day, be sure to fill out a slip of paper on the back table during your lunch to enter your name in a drawing that will be held at the end of the week. We will be awarding 12 lucky people with gift cards on Friday at the end of the day, so don't forget to enter!!
For all students who are interested, there will be an informational Crew meeting on Wednesday, 10/3 from 2:00-3:00 in the auditorium. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please confirm with Mindy Allen or Mrs. Abalutzk that you are still interested.
Attention Wizards!  Quidditch will meet Thursday after school this week.  We will meet in Mrs. Buckley's room, Room 205 before heading outside to toss the quaffle, hurl bludgers and chase the snitch.  Please bring a broom if possible.
After-school band for 6th grade tomorrow is cancelled. Again, no after-school band tomorrow.
Calling all writers and photographers! Newspaper club meets today in room 224.
A special thank you goes out to all of the students who worked with Mrs. Reggio and Mrs. Ryan in Life Skills yesterday to create fantastic treats for all of our staff at our Faculty Meeting.
Just a friendly reminder to staff and students, across the country today at around 2:13 pm, an alert will ring through your cell phones as part of a test of the Presidential Alert System. You may have heard about this on the news or radio. Again the test will be today and will be sent to any cell phones via text with a loud ring or vibration, as way to test the Emergency Alert system at the federal level. Please just be aware, but no need to take action or change your activities.
A reminder that FLL will meet Thursday this week and return to both Tuesday and Thursdays next week.
Good morning Adams! Running club meets today after school in the library.
