Adams’ MS-PTSA kicked off our school’s one and only major fundraiser on today. The money earned from this fundraiser funds several key school initiatives and events like 6th grade Nature’s Classroom, 7th grade Middle of the Middle, 8th grade Community Service day, teacher appreciation week and much more!
One of the most important parts of the fundraiser is the “Postcard Turn-in Day” that happens on the second day of the drive, Tuesday, October 20. Sales from these postcards account for almost 25% of our overall profits.
Today, October 19, all students will received a postcard booklet and will be responsible for filling in the addresses overnight of at least 5 people they would like to have the fundraising company (GAO) send more information about the drive. Students may wish to consider friends, neighbors, family members or colleagues at work. Local addresses will be allowed but No duplicates per household. The turn-in day for these booklets, also known as “Postcard Day,” is this Tuesday (10/20) ONLY. If students would like to be considered for the special prizes during lunch tied to Postcard Day there is no exception about turning in the booklet on Tuesday (20th) morning. It may be helpful to organize this list of addresses with your son/daughter ahead of time. The postcards will be mailed by GAO in late November.
