Term 1 Report Cards Distribution (December 7)

By now you should have received your student’s Term 1 report card via email through BrightArrow. These pdf reports were sent out to each family on Friday, December 7. If you have not received one, please be sure to check your Spam folder as it may have inadvertently been delivered there.  If you have questions regarding your student’s report card please reach out to your student’s grade level Guidance Counselor.

Please know that for Term 1 we did not have teacher comments on the report cards. Moving forward your student will receive both comments and grades for Term 2 and Term 3 report cards.

Grade 6 Nature’s Classroom Packets and Payments Due

We are still in need of many Nature’s Classroom packets and initial deposits of $200.  Please make note that the final payment is due on January 4 of $200.

Additionally, we are in higher need of parent chaperones this year. If you are interested please make sure to complete the form within the packet.  We will be in touch in the near future to let parents know that they have been selected to chaperone and the dates of an informational meeting regarding chaperoning duties.

Johns Hopkins Information and Registration Information

For the past several years, some of our students from the middle school have chosen to participate in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) talent search.  Adams Middle School has no affiliation with Johns Hopkins but has simply shared information about the program to all 7th-grade students. After School classes have officially begun, taught by Mrs. O’Rourke and Ms. Doiron. Please click on the link below for additional information regarding the program and the after-school club to help prepare students should they choose to participate.

Laps-at-Lunch- Parent Volunteers Needed!!

Our Laps-at-Lunch initiative continues to be a huge success!  Students are loving the opportunity to go outside and walk during lunch, or walk the gym when it is a bit chilly.

In order to continue with this initiative, we are in serious need of parent volunteers.  If you have any availability between 11:00-12:30 Monday-Friday, please use the link below to sign up.  Just a reminder that parents will need a current CORI on file, which can be filled out in the RAMS front office.
