Term 2 Progress Reports

As we approach the halfway point for Term 2 we encourage you, along with your child to review their IPass grades and assignments.  Teachers have been instructed to make sure that all grades from the first half of the term are to be updated by Tuesday, January 23 so that parents have an accurate image of their student’s performance in the first half of Term 2.

Holliston High School 8th Grade Open House

The 8th Grade Open house is scheduled for January 22, 2018 from 6:30-8:00 pm.  This will be the first of a few opportunities for families to familiarize themselves with the Holliston High School prior to their student's arrival next year.  The event will kick-off in the Holliston High School auditorium with a presentation from high school students and administration. There will then be an opportunity for 8th grade families to tour the high school.  This event is open to 8th grade students and their parents/guardians.  We hope to see you on the 22nd!

Holliston High School 8th Grade Shadowing Program

The Holliston High School Shadowing Program is scheduled for the morning of February 7th.  Students who are interested in the program are invited to spend a morning and shadow a high school student through his/her classes.

Eighth grade students who participate are asked to arrive directly to the high school main lobby at 7:25am. There they are paired with a high school student to attend two of their classes and the Designated Study Block (DSB). Transportation will not be provided for those students participating in the program. Students would need to be dropped off at the high school at 7:25 am and picked up at 11:00 am to be brought to the middle school to conclude the rest of their day.

If your student is interested or you have questions about the program, please contact Mrs. Gavan at  This is a prearranged event.  Please make sure your student has confirmed with Mrs. Gavan that he/she will be attending the Shadowing Day before arrival on February 7th so that she can arrange for an HHS student to shadow.

Holliston High School Program of Studies Night

On March 7, 2018, the 8th grade parents/guardians should plan to attend the Program of Studies night focusing on course selections and the scheduling process.  At this time, you will have an opportunity to meet the high school department leaders and clarify any questions you may have regarding your student's course offerings.

Laps-at-Lunch- Parent Volunteers Needed!!

Our Laps-at-Lunch initiative has been a huge success!  Students are loving the opportunity to go outside when weather permits or walk in the gym during the cold wintery months. In order to continue with this initiative, we are in serious need of parent volunteers.  If you have any availability between 11:00-12:30 Monday-Friday please consider signing up using the link below. To volunteer, parents will need a CORI on file, which can be filled out in the RAMS front office.
