Grade 8 Math Fair--Parents Needed

We would like to invite you, Parents and Guardians, to demonstrate how you use math in your career.  We are looking for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade parents to present to eighth-grade students in a “science fair” type setup on Wednesday, June 5th. Please see attached flyer for details.

Parent/Admin Virtual Coffee Talk

Please join us on Wednesday, May 8 at 4:30 pm for our final Virtual Coffee Talk of the school year. We will use this time to focus in on end of the year events and showcasing student work.

Art and Jazz Festival

The Art & Jazz Festival has made its return! Please join us on Monday, May 20th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the RAMS library. Mr. Grina, Mrs. Abalutzk, and Mrs. Hebert invite all RAMS families for a coffee-house style evening full of amazing art, music, and food. This year's theme is water! There will be a charity auction with 100% of proceeds going to the Navajo Water Project, art activities to support water conservation and of course lots of great food art and music performed by our very own RAMS students. We are seeking artists to donate art for our auction; art donations can be brought to the office by 5/15. We are also in need of food, water bottles, plastic tablecloths and dry good donations for this event. Please send in or drop off donations in the office on 5/17 and 5/20. Thank you in advance for your support. We hope to see you and your families at the event!

Grade 7 Parents- DC Trip Sign-ups 2019-2020

Attention parents of current 7th graders: We (Mr. Perry & Mr. Conant) are excited to have begun our plans for the April  2020 8th Grade Trip to Washington, D.C. This is our third year as co-coordinators and are looking forward to it again! The dates for the next trip will be scheduled during April Vacation from April 19-22, 2020 (Sunday-Wednesday). This trip is a Holliston tradition offered exclusively to our Grade Eight students. We welcome this opportunity for our students to experience Washington, D.C. with their friends and classmates. We hope it will provide many memories along with instilling a sense of pride and civic engagement for the students.

On Wednesday, May 1 we are speaking with the 7th graders about the trip. They will be taking home a number of items related to the trip. However, and VERY IMPORTANT-this year we are asking parents to sign up electronically using Google Forms. We will be having a meeting on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30 in the RAMS auditorium to speak with parents of current 7th graders about the trip. Thank you in advance. Please contact either Mr. Perry or Mr. Conant if you have any questions or concerns.
