IParent Sign-up

In our effort to improve communication and information on student progress, we are pleased to announce that we will be opening the iPass iParent Portal for RAMS parents and guardians and their children by the end of the first term in early December.   The iParent Portal is an important part of iPass, the Student Information System used by the Holliston Public Schools that will allow you and your child to access your child’s schedule, attendance and grades.

Be on the look-out for IParent registration information in the next couple of weeks.

Virtual Parent Coffee Talk

Save the date!!  Mr. Botelho and Mr. Jordan, with the help of the PTSA, will be holding their first ever virtual parent coffee talk.  In an effort to expand the school’s ability to communicate in alternative ways with parents, Mr. Botelho and Mr. Jordan will be available in an online forum to answer any questions that parents may have.  The virtual coffee talk will be held the evening of November 4, 2015.

Grade 6 Nature’s Classroom Parent Information Night

This coming Tuesday October 6th from 6-7 pm in the RAMS Auditorium, Mrs. O’Rourke, Mr. Cotter, Mrs. Murray, and Mr. Jordan will be hosting an informational night for 6th grade parents to discuss the Spring Nature’s Classroom trip.  It is highly encouraged that all 6th grade parents attend.  At the event, 6th grade staff will discuss what a typical day looks like at Nature’s Classroom, review all of the necessary school forms for participation, cost, housing arrangements, and behavioral expectations.

The Magazine Drive is coming soon.

MS PTSA runs the one and only RAMS fundraiser of the year – The Magazine Drive.  The sales campaign will run from Monday, October 19th to Monday, November 9th.

Please keep in mind, while only current middle school students will be “selling” magazines during those three weeks, the drive is ongoing throughout the entire year online and is open to everyone in Holliston.  Even if you no longer have a child in the Middle School, you can renew or order magazines.  Yes, renewals count just as much as new subscriptions!!  Renew during the drive and your subscription will automatically renew at its regular renewal date.  All profits from the drive (40% of gross sales-WOW!) go directly to our school.

It’s so easy!  All orders & renewals will be placed online.  Go to gaschoolstore.com and enter school #2590990 to order. Also visit the site to set-up your child’s account.  Please be sure to enter your student’s homeroom teacher during set-up so that your child’s sales can qualify for prizes.  Once set up, you will be ready to easily place orders in October and send out emails to friends and family in advance to let them know how they can support your child and the Adams Middle School PTSA. Questions? Please contact Jill Sykes jillsykes22@gmail.com or Laura Lockwood locklaura@gmail.com.
