Intruder Response Drill- March 11

On Monday, March 11 at 8:30 am all students will practice an Intruder Response Drill through group discussions led by staff in collaboration with the Holliston Police Department. During this drill students and teachers will remain in their classrooms for the duration of the drill, while Mr. Jordan and Mrs. Beattie will read aloud over the PA system 2-3 scenarios of an intruder description and location in the building. Under the guidance of staff,  the students will engage in problem-solving discussions as to how they would respond. The Holliston Police Department, along with Chief Cassidy of the Holliston Fire Department will visit classrooms to lend to the conversations and assist in answering questions. It is anticipated that this drill will last approximately 30 minutes. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Jordan or Mrs. Beattie.

Parent Ed: Girl Rising Viewing

Screening: Girl Rising

This screening will be held on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 pm there will be a FREE screening of Girl Rising at Robert Adams School, Auditorium

Girl Rising is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a revised documentary that spotlights the unforgettable stories of nine incredible girls living in the developing world, striving beyond circumstance and overcoming nearly insurmountable odds to achieve their dreams. Their lives have been affected by the absolute power of education - or lack thereof. This movie adds fuel to the growing movement of individuals, communities, and governments working to shift the way girls and girls' education are valued. It will inspire girls to create a different future, bringing people together in a shared mission.  This event is sponsored by Mindshare, the Parent Education Program from Holliston PTO. For more information, please contact Anne Buckley

Laps-at-Lunch- Parent -Volunteers Needed!!

Our Laps-at-Lunch initiative has been a huge success!  Students are loving the opportunity to go outside when weather permits or walk in the gym during the cold winter months. In order to continue with this initiative, we are in serious need of parent volunteers.  If you have any availability between 11:00-12:30 Monday-Friday please consider signing up using the link below. To volunteer, parents will need a CORI on file, which can be filled out in the RAMS front office.
