Middle School Pit Crew- Opportunity for students 2019-2020

As the school year comes to a close, so does a very successful start to a new opportunity for some of our students this year, RAMS Pit Crew. Similar to the Pit Crew at Holliston High School, we piloted our own Pit Crew which focused on repairing and troubleshooting issues with the hardware and software of student Chromebooks.  Additionally, students were also involved in website design, programming, and technology repair outside of just the Chromebooks.

We would like to continue this opportunity next year. Interested students should be able to operate with a high level of independence and autonomy, be creative, and have a high interest in computer science.  This course will meet 1-2 times every 6-day cycle and it will replace one of the students’ existing electives.

If your student would be interested in participating for 2019--2020 school year, please fill out the following interest survey.

8th Grade Slideshow-final opportunity to submit photos

We are going to continue the tradition of an end of year 8th-grade slideshow. This photo montage will feature pictures of your sons and daughters as they have grown up and attended school in Holliston and are soon ready to move on to high school. It will be shown to 8th-grade students in the auditorium one of the last days of school. In addition, we will make this video available to parents who wish to watch it at home and save it as a keepsake.

In order to create the best slideshow ever, we need your help with collecting pictures. We are asking that you submit the following in the next three weeks if possible:

1. A baby or toddler picture of your son/daughter (only need 1 of these)

2. Any photos of your son/daughter with other 8th grade friends throughout the years (the more the better!)

These pictures can be submitted in three different ways:

***These pictures will be shown in HD and should be at least 1 MB. Small images will be blurry and cannot be used.***

***Only digital pictures will be accepted***

Thank you for your assistance with this project. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Adam Steiner at
