Racial Incident-Bathroom Update

As of today, we have begun opening up ALL staff and student bathrooms for use.  As mentioned in a prior email from Mr. Jordan, last week we had a very successful school wide lesson and discussion with ALL staff and students around the use of the “N-word'' which was found written in two different bathrooms here at RAMS.  Linked below are a list of resources that we sent out to families to help facilitate discussions at home around this topic. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

RAMS Strategy of the Week

Our Student Support staff has been doing a tremendous job putting together both academic and social emotional strategies for ALL students every Monday to practice and implement each week.  While we send them out to our staff and students each Monday via email to review together, and then individually, we wanted to include families in this process as well.

Please take a moment to review our RAMS Strategy Zen Den.  Each week our Student Support Bitmojis have a linked strategy. Take a moment to click on each Bitmoji and review with your student.  It is important now more than ever to refine our skills and strategies for learning and growth.

Fall One Acts-November 12-13

The ReAct Players have been working hard on both of the Fall One Act plays! Our actors and crew are excited to bring you both Oz and All I Really Need to Know I Learned From Being a Zombie on Friday, November 12 at 7:00 pm, and two shows on Saturday, November 13 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm at the RAMS Auditorium.

Midterm Grades

It is hard to believe, but we have reached midway point of Term 1, which was on Tuesday, October 19. Families, along with their students, should log into PowerSchool to view grades and work completion. Please encourage your child to check in with their teachers should they have questions regarding grades.
