RAMS Students of the Month-October

Each month at Robert Adams Middle School, we will be choosing one student per team in each grade that has proven to be positive contributors to our school community.  What do we look for students to exemplify?

  • Responsibility

  • Respect

  • Integrity

  • Empathy

  • Perseverance

  • Courage

The students chosen are announced on the first of the month over the morning announcements, and are awarded with a RAMS Student of the Month Certificate. A photo of each student along with a write-up highlighting the student’s achievement is displayed on our Main Lobby bulletin board.  Congratulations to this month’s recipients:

Grade 6: Alexander Cataldo, Charlie Cruz, Milo Businger

Grade 7: Kylla Araujo, Alex Bergmann, Srivalli Kuragayala

Grade 8: Liam Brannigan, Maddie Prince, Murilo Vieira

 WL/UA: Yukti Avala

We are hoping that Nature’s Classroom will go on as planned for the 2021-2022 school year. Please know that we currently have the space on hold, but are awaiting guidelines relative to trips during COVID.  Typically our trip runs Tuesday through Friday the week following April Vacation.  We will keep you apprised of information once we know.

Mood Check-Gr 7 ONLY

This will be our fifth year partnering with Wellesley Center for Women to implement Mood Check: Holliston, for Grade 7 students on Tuesday, November 16-Thursday November 18. A reminder to students planning to apply to Keefe Tech for enrollment in Fall of 2022 that you need to submit your application prior to January 15th.  You can apply here: https://keefetech.go2cte.com/

RAMS Strategy of the Week

Our Student Support staff has been doing a tremendous job putting together both academic and social emotional strategies for ALL students every Monday to practice and implement each week.  While we send them out to our staff and students each Monday via email to review together, and then individually, we wanted to include families in this process as well.

Please take a moment to review our RAMS Strategy Zen Den.  Each week our Student Support Bitmojis have a linked strategy. Take a moment to click on each Bitmoji and review with your student.  It is important now more than ever to refine our skills and strategies for learning and growth.
