Entrance: All parent vehicles must enter the back of the RAMS campus via Linden Street (adjacent to Flagg Field).
Route: Drivers will proceed through the back lot and follow the perimeter to the former 6th-grade loop.
Exit: Follow designated signage to exit the campus back toward Linden Street.
Important Restrictions:
Woodland Street Access: The Woodland Street entrances are now strictly reserved for school buses and staff vehicles. No parent drop-offs or pickups will be permitted at these entrances.
Late Dismissals (After 2:30 PM): If you are picking up your student after 2:30 PM, you must not park in front of the school. Please follow the same route via Linden Street and utilize the visitor parking spots in the former 6th-grade loop. Late arrivals idling in the front loop interfere with bus departure and create significant safety risks.
Other Reminders:
Please refrain from idling or waiting in parking areas: We continue to receive concerns from families, staff, and our transportation partners about vehicles stopping or waiting in parking spaces near the building, along the fence, and in staff-designated areas. These areas are not part of the pickup line. Please remain in the designated flow of traffic.
Use crosswalks: Students who are dropped off on side streets should use designated crosswalks.
Bikes, scooters, skateboards: Students should walk bicycles, scooters, and skateboards once they arrive on campus.
Dismissal/Transportation Changes for Students:
Early dismissals of any kind will need to be documented by using the form below. Parents should no longer send in notes or call main office for dismissal. The use of this form will be sent directly to the RAMS Main Office, and your child will be ready in the lobby at the appropriate time for dismissal.
Twice a month, you can expect a school-wide update from RAMS Administrators. This is distributed to families via Bright Arrow and can also be found in the NEWS section of the school webpage. It may be a recap of recent events or a preview of upcoming happenings.
In addition to the above school-wide methods, please communicate openly with your child’s teacher(s). Each teacher has an email address listed in the Faculty Directory.
In an effort to minimize disruptions, drop off hours for forgotten lunches and other items occur between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at Marathon School.
School Doors:
Just a reminder that we ask for everyone’s support to prevent ‘tailgating.’ While holding the door open for others is a polite thing to do, it can be a security risk in our schools. Please do not hold the door open for others; we kindly ask that all visitors pass through our buzz-in system at the main entrance to the school.
